Theo’s nearly finished his first year of school! I can’t believe it! Next year he will officially be a Big Boy, in the Big Playground…

When it rained really really heavy it made me go ‘where is the rain drier!?’ and Sophia said ‘where is the shelter’ and this is a loooooong long story, for mah blog. And then it went TCHHHHH! And then we found our house. It was only a short story.

And then in the end there came a big thunderstorm, and Sophia started to cry at dinner time. And that is the END. And then the whole house blew up. But then came a big ginormous ogre who was very cross because the pirates had broken his house and then he came in and he brok all the computers and the house was on FIRE!

Uhoh don’t show her the wee bit.

And then the whole house broke to pieces.

And then I broke the ogre.

And then a big lion came and went ROAR.

And then I got a pet.

I licked it! The bowls! Eheeee! Cos we didn’t know what we licked….

My job at first was putting on the butter on the tin and breaking the chocolate and you gave me a bit of chocolate to eat, dint you mammy?

Theo came running downstairs a few nights ago boohooing dramatically, I was a bit worried as Tony went up to check on him and he said ‘oh dear, go see Mummy’ in that voice that means a potentially broken limb…

He duly came running in and moaned ‘wuurghuhuh the invisible fairies are tickling my arm…wurghuhuh!!’

He actually fell asleep on his arm and it went numb, and when he got up to go to the loo he got pins and needles! I can’t believe he’d never had pins and needles before!… I explained to him about the blood flowing back into his arm, scared him half to death with the mention of blood and then this happened…

(It’s still light until after bedtime these days)

In other news Sophia is going through a bit of a fashionista stage…

And yes, she did insist on wearing it to collect Theo from school…

Miranda had her first trip on a double decker bus a few weeks back!

Her most favourite part was when Daddy came home and we had a birthday tea and played…

Of course Theo and Sophia enjoyed the party thoroughly.

But they soon got their act together when Mimi threatened to splat them with chocolate pudding and slobber…

There was warm chocolate pudding and ice cream…

Although Mimi did start to get a little diva-ish towards the end of the evening!

Mimi was also burgled on her birthday! See below!

Here she is on Christmas Eve 2008 looking like a perfectly normal baby…. and then…. five minutes later…

Trout pout alert!! What happened? Did she sneak unnoticed into a backstreet plastic surgery clinic…?

Except the, ahem, virgin Mummy was asleep and couldn’t be roused, even when ‘hot chocolate’ was whispered in her ear…

So the angel went back home in a bit of a mood.

The shepherd was trying to find a star to follow, and tried so hard he spent forty minutes in the desert of Frontoom surviving off only odd, mouldy leftovers behind the hills of Sofa. After many odd leftovers were imbibed a holy pink unicorn appeared before him.

The holy pink unicorn led the shepherd to the three kings… they’d got bored trying to follow a star, which turned out to be a helicopter and were having a feast…

So, the shepherd got the munchies, the baby woke its Mummy up and the angel stayed in heaven where nobody was rude. The end.
